About the Founder

Brian Strickland Jones is an HR professional with nearly a decade of experience supporting organizations in building strong, compliant, and people-centered workplaces. Through TrueToYou Human Capital Consulting, he partners with small businesses and nonprofits to provide practical HR guidance that helps leaders navigate employee matters with clarity and confidence.

Brian’s approach to human resources emphasizes thoughtful problem-solving, clear communication, and solutions that balance compliance with workplace culture. He believes effective HR practices should support both organizational success and the well-being of the people who make that success possible.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Resource Management from Clemson University and an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Southern Wesleyan University. He is also a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), demonstrating advanced expertise in strategic HR leadership and best practices.

In addition to his consulting work, Brian serves as Vice President of his local SHRM chapter, where he contributes to advancing HR leadership and professional development within the HR community.
